2 oz bonded rye

1 oz Amer Picon aperitif

¼ oz maraschino liqueur

¼ oz Benedictine

1 dash Boker's bitters

Garnish

Orange twist

Instructions

Stir with ice and strain into the glass.

Notes

For a very long time, I could not get enough of this drink. For a short time, it even supplanted my love of the Old Fashioned. A spicy rye >50% ABV is important, otherwise it becomes overly sweet.
